Dawn Gritten

Dawn Gritten, MSW is a therapist with Families United, Inc. under the supervision of Kathi Lange, LCSW, LMFT, LCAC.  Dawn received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Indiana University (IUPUI) in May 2009.  Dawn received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan in 1990.

Dawn joined Families United, Inc. in September 2008 as an Intern while completing her Master’s Degree.  She was hired in June 2009 as a Family Preservation Worker/Supervised Visitation Facilitator and was promoted to Program Manager in November 2009.  After funding issues forced our agency to discontinue this program, Dawn transitioned to an Individual and Family Therapist.  She currently provides individual therapy for issues like depression, anxiety, domestic violence, and anger management.  In addition, Mrs. Dixon also provides marital and family therapy.  Dawn is also an IN-AJSOP Level 3 Direct Care Certified professional which enables her to provide individual and group therapy to juveniles referred for sexually maladaptive behaviors. 

Families United, Inc. services children, individuals, and families in Fountain, Warren, Benton, White, Tippecanoe, Montgomery, Putnam, and Vermillion Counties.  The agency is located in Attica, Indiana with satellite offices in Lafayette and Crawfordsville.  Dawn Gritten works primarily from the office in Attica, Indiana.
