Lyndsey Salts

Lyndsey Lanie Salts, MSW, LSW is a therapist with Families United, Inc. under the supervision of Kathi Lange, LCSW, LMFT, LCAC. Lyndsey received her Master's Degree in Social Work from Indiana University (IUPUI) in May 2016. Lyndsey received her Bachelor's Degree in Child Development and Family Life from Indiana State University in 2002.

Lyndsey has fifteen years of experience working with children and families. She formerly has worked in the capacity of a Family Preservation Worker, Supervised Visitation Facilitator, Outpatient Case Manager for adults and teens, and a School-Based Case Manager for Jr. High and High School students. Lyndsey's experience includes working with children, teenagers and adults with anxiety, grief, trauma, abuse, and depression. In 2005, Lyndsey created a successful program, "Life Strategies for Teens". This program was targeted for teenagers who were considered "at risk" or exhibiting negative behaviors.

Lyndsey completed her one-year internship for completion of her MSW at Seeger Jr/Sr High School, Warren Central Elementary School, and Covington Elementary and Middle School. She created programs in the local schools that include character building traits, drug and alcohol awareness, and bullying prevention. Lyndsey also created behavior plans to meet the individual needs for students who were struggling behaviorally in the classroom due to difficulties surrounding depression, anxiety, and other diagnosable disorders.
